How to Mentally find the 20% of any number.

• Step 1) Divide the number by 5.
• Step 2) Put down result of step first as answer.

Example, 1) 20% of 60 = ?

                 ⇒ 60/5 = 12.

                 So we get,  20% of 60 = 12.

                 

                 2) 20% of 100 = ?

                ⇒ 100/5 = 20.    

                So we get,  20% of 100 = 20.

                 3) 20% of 57 = ?

                 ⇒ 57/5 = .

                 So we get,  20% of 57 = 11.4. 

                 4) 20% of 100 = ?

                 ⇒ 100/5 = 20.

                 So we get,  20% of 100 = 20.
